Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions are binding on everyone who uses the site, both visitors and registered customers.

1. Definitions

• Supplier/Seller — AVA DESIGN 8 Ltd, company number 207717864.
• Online shop — the AVA Lighting website and its subdomains.
• Customer — any natural or legal person who uses the services of the online shop.
• Order — a request by the customer for goods they have selected, at a stated price, carrying an obligation to pay the final price and to specify the place of delivery.
• Goods — all items offered by the Seller in the online shop.
• Price of the goods — the final unit price, stated in euro and including VAT.
• Delivery charge — the cost of delivering the goods to the customer, including VAT.
• Final order price — the price of the goods together with the delivery charge.

2. Supplier details

AVA DESIGN 8 Ltd is a company registered in the Commercial Register of the Bulgarian Registry Agency under company number 207717864, with its registered office at 22 Tsani Ginchev Street, floor 2, Primorski district, Varna 9000, Bulgaria, represented by its manager Vladimir Petkov Manchev.

3. Scope

These terms have the force of a contract governing the relationship between AVA DESIGN 8 Ltd and its customers, under which the Supplier sells and delivers goods at a distance through the online shop following an explicit order from the customer.

The customer pays the final order price under the conditions and within the periods stated in the online shop. Once an order is confirmed, the Supplier undertakes to deliver the goods within the stated period and to the place given in the order.

By visiting the website the customer confirms that they have read and accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site or the services offered on it.

4. Registration

Customers may create an account when shopping. Registration is free and requires a first name, surname and a valid email address. The customer must provide accurate and valid details; the Supplier accepts no liability where false details have been given.

Where a minor between the ages of 14 and 18 registers, they thereby declare that their parents or guardians consent. For anyone under 14, consent is given entirely by a parent or guardian.

5. Placing an order

Purchases may be made either as a guest or from a registered account. The customer adds the chosen goods to the basket and then supplies: first name and surname, a valid email address, a telephone number, a delivery address, a delivery method and a payment method.

By pressing the “Order” button the customer undertakes to pay the final order price and agrees to these terms.

6. Prices and payment

A specific selling price is shown for every item, together with information about its main characteristics. All prices are in euro and include VAT, and bind the Supplier from the moment they are published. The Supplier reserves the right to change them unilaterally, but may not change the price of goods that are the subject of an order already placed or confirmed.

The final price may be paid by bank transfer to the Supplier's account. Where a refund is due, it is made to a bank account provided by the customer.

All orders are processed within 2 working days of being confirmed.

The Supplier may decline to fulfil a confirmed order if the goods ordered are not available, and will notify the customer by email. If payment has already been made, the customer may choose between a refund and a replacement order.

7. Delivery

Delivery is carried out by the licensed courier Speedy AD, to an address or a courier office specified by the customer within the Republic of Bulgaria. The customer undertakes to accept delivery.

The delivery period is up to 28 working days from the date the order is processed. The Supplier reserves the right to delay delivery because of unforeseen circumstances, including delay on the part of the manufacturer. For items held in stock the usual period is considerably shorter and is stated on each product page.

Delivery costs are calculated at checkout and depend on the weight of the parcel and the method chosen. All orders over 100 € are delivered free of charge.

Once the parcel has been dispatched the customer receives an email confirmation with a tracking number.

On receipt the customer must inspect the goods and immediately inform the courier of any damage, defect or other irregularity. Otherwise the goods are deemed to have been accepted without reservation, and claims for obvious defects cannot be raised later.

The customer must ensure that someone is available to accept the goods. If delivery cannot be made on the first attempt, the cost of any further delivery is borne by the customer. The Supplier accepts no liability for prepaid goods left uncollected at a courier office for more than 7 working days.

8. Cancellation, warranty and complaints

The customer has the right to cancel an order and to ask for a refund within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason.

To be accepted for return, goods must be in their original packaging, unused, and with all accompanying documents, accessories and labels. Products that are damaged, soiled or altered in a way that reduces their value will not be accepted.

The cost of returning goods is borne by the customer.

To exercise the right of cancellation, the customer writes to store@ava-lighting.com with the order details and the reason for the return. Once approved, they receive return instructions. The return address is: 9a Saborni Blvd, Varna, Bulgaria.

After the returned product has been received and inspected, the Supplier sends notice of its status. Where the return is approved, the amount is refunded by the original payment method within 10 working days. In certain cases the Supplier may refund only part of the amount paid — for example where a product shows obvious signs of use, is missing components, or its packaging has been damaged.

All goods carry a 24-month warranty. For the warranty to be valid, the customer should inspect the goods on receipt and satisfy themselves that they match the order and show no visible damage or defects.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects only. When making a claim, the goods must be presented in their original packaging together with the original sales document or a copy of the invoice and, where applicable, an installation record from a qualified electrician.

The warranty does not cover accessories and consumables supplied with the product, unless the manufacturer expressly warrants them. Nor does it cover damage caused by improper use, dropping, impact, ingress of moisture, improper storage, a poor electrical supply, natural disasters or other external influences, or repairs carried out by unauthorised persons.

9. Promotions and discounts

The Supplier may offer goods at a discount and must give advance information about the discounts offered, the size of the reduction and the period of the promotion. Promotional prices apply to all customers.

10. Changes to these terms

The Supplier reserves the right to amend these terms. Where they are amended, the current version is published on this page. Changes do not affect orders already placed and confirmed.

11. Dispute resolution

If a dispute arises in connection with an online purchase, you may contact the Bulgarian Commission for Consumer Protection or use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform: consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu.
