Privacy Policy

This policy describes what personal data we collect, and how we process and store it, in accordance with applicable Bulgarian and European law.

1. What data we collect, and why

Entering into a contract of sale

To fulfil your order we need your first name and surname, a valid email address, a telephone number and a delivery address. This data is necessary for the contract to be concluded. If you do not wish us to store it, the contract must be terminated and you may request that your data be deleted.

Creating an account

Registration is voluntary. It requires a first name, surname and email address. Deletion of an account is requested at the address given below.

Accounting for payments

To account for payments received we process your first name and surname, email address, delivery address and telephone number.

Some of your data may not be deleted where a statutory or regulatory requirement obliges us to retain it, or where our legitimate interest permits us to keep it.

You may choose to give us other information. We store only what we need in order to contact you. Anything provided beyond that is neither processed nor stored.

2. Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookies. On your first visit you will see a banner where you choose which categories you accept:

• Strictly necessary — the site does not work without them (session, basket contents, your cookie choice). These cannot be switched off.
• Functional — they remember preferences such as language and sort order.
• Statistical — they help us understand which pages are viewed and where people run into difficulty. The data is aggregated and does not identify an individual visitor.

4. Marketing messages

With your explicit consent we may send you messages about new products, offers and promotions. We always ask for your consent in advance. You may withdraw it at any time, with no consequences of any kind for you.

5. Who has access to your data

AVA DESIGN 8 Ltd does not give access to, or transfer, your data to third parties beyond what is necessary to fulfil your order.

Your data is used by our staff when contacting you, processing contracts and accounting for payments. All our staff observe our data protection policies strictly and bear personal responsibility for doing so.

For delivery we pass the necessary data to the courier Speedy AD. Where lawful and in accordance with our legitimate interest, we may provide data to our legal advisers — only where this is necessary.

We do not transfer data outside the European Union and the European Economic Area.

6. Security

We are committed to keeping the information you give us secure. To prevent unauthorised access or disclosure we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures, together with technical and organisational measures which we keep up to date.

7. How long we keep your data

We keep your personal data for as long as is necessary to meet our legal, regulatory and internal requirements, and until the purposes of processing described in this policy have been achieved. For information about specific retention periods, please contact us.

8. Your rights

You have the right to ask us for:

• information about, a copy of, or access to your personal data;
• correction of inaccurate data;
• deletion of your data;
• restriction of processing;
• objection to processing;
• information about automated processing, where such processing is used.

For any of these requests, send a description of the personal data concerned to store@ava-lighting.com. We may ask for further proof of identity in order to protect your data from unlawful access.

9. Complaints
