bticino Living Now: design that disappears into the wall, intelligence that stays

Living Now is the switch and socket range by bticino (a Legrand group brand) where design and technology were conceived together from day one. It is bticino’s first range that is natively connected: it works as a fully traditional installation, and turns into a smart home whenever you want — with no need to alter the wiring.

Design that seems to vanish into the wall

The Living Now surface is completely flush. The keys align perfectly with the cover plate and the light switches on by pressing any point of the surface — top, bottom or centre. After a press, the key returns to its original, perfectly aligned position. In 2020 the range received an honourable mention at the prestigious Compasso d’Oro ADI award.

Self-Centering System

This patented self-centering cover system keeps the key covers aligned with the rest of the switch point even after extended use. The entire surface is functional and ergonomic.

The floating frame

Behind the cover plate a frame moves freely on its four corners, making installation easy and precise while hiding wall imperfections, misaligned flush boxes and plasterboard box collars. The result: the switch looks as if it is suspended on the wall.

Materials and colours

Plates come in three material types: technopolymer (layered for a beautiful depth effect), Zamak (a durable metal alloy for refined finishes) and wood — in Oak and Walnut for a warmer, natural look.

The range’s signature is monochromatism: when plate and covers share the same finish, the switch blends into the interior. The classic white, sand and black are now joined by new metallic shades — a rich palette for any style.

What is coming soon to the Bulgarian market

Living Now expands with three new metallic finishes — Champagne, Bronze and Steel. Add the new InWall installation for full flush integration and the MySwitch configurator for custom pictograms, symbols and text. Coming soon to AVA Lighting.

From a classic switch to a smart home

With Living Now with Netatmo a traditional system becomes connected in a few steps. Control everything from the Home+Control app — at home or remotely — or by voice via Google, Apple and Amazon assistants. For larger projects the range supports KNX and MyHome BUS/SCS automation.

Battery-powered wireless controls can be placed anywhere — no cabling, no masonry, not even a screwdriver.
