What kind of brand is Redo

Redo Group is a Romanian manufacturer of decorative lighting, founded in 2013. The collections are modern - clean shapes, matt finishes in white, black, gold and bronze - and cover every room: from the living room and kitchen to the bathroom and garden.

Wide choice: more than 140 collections, often in several colours and sizes.
Quality light: many models have a CRI above 90 - colours in the room look natural.
Complete series: a pendant, ceiling light and wall light from the same collection for one consistent style throughout the home.
Warm light: most models are 3000 K, with 2700 K and 4000 K also available.

Pendants: over the table, the island and in the living room

A pendant puts light exactly where people gather. A few rules to make it look right:

Wall and ceiling lights

Wall lights give a soft wash of light across the wall - in a hallway, beside the bed or next to the mirror. Redo's Brook models have a switch and a USB port - handy next to the bedside table. Ceiling lights are the best choice for low ceilings and hallways, and LED ceiling lights such as Scroll give even light without separate bulbs.

Practical tip

Choose one collection for the whole floor - for example a pendant over the table and a ceiling light in the hallway from the same series. The home looks coordinated, even when the rooms are different.

How to choose the light

Colour temperature: 2700-3000 K for living rooms and bedrooms, 3000-4000 K for kitchens and work areas.
Amount of light: living room about 150-300 lm per m2, kitchen 300-500 lm per m2.
Dimming: some models are dimmable - check the description and get a suitable dimmer.

How high should a pendant hang over the table?

60-75 cm from the table top to the bottom edge of the pendant.

How many pendants do I need over an island?

For an island up to 2 m long - two or three small pendants, evenly spaced.

Can the bulbs be replaced in the LED models?

In integrated LED models the light source is built in and long-lasting; in models with a lamp holder you fit an LED bulb.
